We collaborate with the Cornell Cooperative Extension 4H staff to host an after school literacy program at Wingdale Elementary School. Our staff coordinate with the program leader to make the program accessible to Spanish-speaking students.

NEDIS collaborates with the local Cornell Cooperative Extension to bring a 4H based curriculum to students at Wingdale Elementary in Wingdale, NY. Students in the 1st and 2nd grades sign up through the school administration for 5-week long sessions of 4H Club where they practice their reading and writing skills while learning about agriculture. Students also engage in hands-on experiences ranging from crafts to visits from farm animals. Our staff also coordinate with the program leader to make the program accessible to Spanish-speaking students.
