Schools can be difficult to navigate for those who are new to the country or who face a language barrier. We help families learn to overcome those challenges.

School registration

We help explain the process of registering for school, arrange appointments with the district and facilitate communication with the registrar

Report Cards and Grades

We go beyond literal translation to an explication of what report cards mean for students

Testing

Sometimes districts request further testing to better understand how a student learns. We take the mystery out of this process and help communicate with the district.

Tutoring

Success in school depends on mastery of the basics. When students fall behind in these skills it can be difficult to catch up while still doing all the currently assigned work. We can take the time to teach and practice fundamentals in English and mathematics so students gain confidence in their academic abilities.
