Perspectivas  is a youth group led by RISE and affiliated with Rural and Migrant Ministry, built on the organizational principles of RMM’s youth programs.  Perpectivas gives high school students from immigrant families in rural Dutchess County a forum to advocate for themselves and their community through journalism. Weekly meetings allow young people to share experiences and exchange opinions, support each other, and come to agreement on their common purposes. From those conversations emerge news and opinion pieces, for publication, that broadcast student perspectives to the wider community.
